". . . Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching comes the changes. . . The tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleanded surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will - to your surprise - miss them profoundly. . . Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey. . . For one day each of us will run out of tomorrows." -Pres. Thomas S. Monson

The Real Story of Summer BBQ's. . .

I found this on my friends blog and had to share as well because it is hysterical!

BBQ RULES

We are about to enter the summer and BBQ season. Therefore, it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity, as it's the only type of cooking a 'real' man will do, probably because there is an element of danger involved. When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion:
Routine. . .

(1) The woman buys the food.

(2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert.

(3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - drink in hand.
Here comes the important part. . .

(4) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE GRILL.
More routine...

(5) The woman goes inside to organize the plates and cutlery.

(6) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is burning. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another drink while he deals with the situation.
Important again:

(7) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE GRILL AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN.More routine...

(8) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table.

(9) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.

And most important of all:

(10) Everyone praises the MAN and thanks HIM for his cooking efforts.

Then,

(11) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed 'her night off.' And, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women.

It's A Good One!

Tyler and I went to see "Iron Man" on Monday with our friends Brooke and Ryan. Brooke looked absolutely adorable as well. . . getting her little baby bump! :) We are so excited! The movie was awesome though! If anyone is debating to see it or hasn't yet, go! It was great. It was fun to see Robert Downey Jr. play someone good for a change. He was very funny as well. Fabulous technology. Thanks Brooke & Ryan!

We barbequed. . .Our little ones went crazy and played. . .Our hubbies and boys got to know each other a little better too. . .And of course, for us girls, it was as if no time had passed. . .

My Week with Emma!

Emma loved to play with Jersey! They were such good pals:)

We had one good day open up on Thursday and took the opportunity to go on a walk to the park! Emma loved to go on the slides and climb on the playground.

Emma also loved to play with Hunter. She was such a good helper! Hunter loved to mess up her puzzles she just put together and try to eat her crayons:) I watched her everyday for a week. It was great! It gave me a glimpse at how my life was going to be in probably another couple years! She was so much fun!
